We had such a great weekend hanging out with friends and family. Friday night we just got settled into our hotel and went to bed early because we knew Saturday was going to be a busy day. Saturday morning was actually really easy. I just had to run to the store to get balloons. Jody and I headed over to the restaurant like an hour before and set up a few things. The service was EXCELLENT and it was so easy on our end. While we were at the shower Nate and the boys swam at the hotel pool and then headed out to lunch with Uncle Jeff and Grandpa Al. Uncle Jeff wanted to give them their first "HOOTERS" experience. NICE!!! They liked it but were kind of dissapointed because Uncle Jeff told them there were owls there and so they thought they were going to see real owls. Ha! After the shower we packed up and headed to the park. Our friends Ben and Diane were there with their little boy T.J. who is 18 months. He is SERIOUSLY the best behaved child EVER!!! And he is so cute and funny. Sam and Parker really liked playing with him and this little guy held his own against those two! After the park they came back to our hotel and we all ordered pizza and had left over cake and then swam. SUPER fun weekend!!! The only bad thing is that we missed Kris. He didn't arrive until Tuesday so we are still working out the details of when we are going to visit with him.
