JOB!!!!!

Well tomorrow is a big day for me! After almost FOUR years of being a Stay at home Mom I am starting a new job. After we got home from Florida I decided that it was time to start looking for something part time. I had VERY specific criteria about what I was looking for. I wanted something only like 2 days a week, I wanted to work in a fun atmosphere with people that I could laugh with and make some new friends, I wanted it to be a place where I could wear cute clothes. Seriously I live in comfy clothes these days and I wanted an excuse to wear stylish clothes!!! Ha!

I applied for a job that I found on Craigslist for a part time receptionist in a hair salon. I interviewed last week and was offered the job. I went in on Friday to meet a few of the girls and talk with my new boss about my schedule. Tomorrow I start training with one of the receptionists. I am really excited about it! The salon is in Allendale so its only like 10 minutes away. Its very cute and trendy, I have only met a few of the girls but thought they were nice and very friendly. The one thing all the girls talk about is how much they enjoy working there and that everyone gets along really well which is great!!! I think its going to be a fabulous place to work.

Its going to take a little getting used to, but Nate is really supportive and excited for this this new opportunity for me. BIG changes in our family this past week. The boys starting school and now me starting to work again. I feel like its a good change though!!!

UPDATE on school. I picked the boys up on Thursday and the teacher said they did REALLY REALLY good. She said they followed directions really well and seemed to be adjusting to the new routine really good. THANK GOODNESS! I was so proud of them and also relieved to know that they can actually follow directions:) Ha! They are loving school and I think if it was up to them they would go every day. I am hoping things continue to go well for them. I think its going to be a little while until I am completely comfortable with the whole "school" thing. I may never be and I'm OK with that. As long as they are doing good and enjoying it that is all that matters. I will probably always worry too much!!!
