Dino-World

On our drive from St Pete to Orlando we say a GIANT dinosaur on the side of the highway with a sign for "DINOSAUR WORLD". The boys of course saw the T-Rex and said PULL OVER!!!! When we got home we decided to check it out online. Looked OK but come on Dinosaur-world. This could be REALLY BAD!!! Yesterday was finally a nice sunny day in the 60's so we ventured over to check it out. You would have thought the boys were going to Disney World. They were so excited. We pulled up, the parking lot was empty. "Uh-Oh" then we started walking down the path and were honestly shocked at how nice it was.

There are paths throughout a jungle like atmosphere. They had little lakes with waterfalls, GIANT Dinosaurs and some of them looked real not all cheesy and fake looking! They even had an area with vicious dinosaurs eating other dinosaurs. One of Parkers favorite spots was a giant sandbox that you could use shovels and paint brushes to un-cover dinosaur bones. Sam went to a fossil dig with me. Parker was too busy running around. We each got to pick out 3 fossils and we choose some sharks teeth. Sam's named the dinosaur shaped trash can's "Trash-can-a-saurus" it was really funny. My favorite part was standing on a bridge with the boys feeding these giant fish. It was very peaceful.

It was a FABULOUS day. The boys were in great moods and behaved extremely well which always makes it more fun!!!

I took a TON of pictures because I'm going to print off a bunch of pictures and make them their own dinosaur album.

If you are in the Tampa/ Orlando area I would highly recommend this place. It cost only $48 for admission for all 4 of us. We brought a cooler with sandwiches, veggies and dip and lots of water, juice boxes and of course Mountain Dew for Dad. They have a great picnic area with a playground attached to it so that the kids can run around while the parents eat! It was very clean and like I said there was barely anyone there! Great Day!!!
