POOL!!!!

Today we finally got to play outside by the pool. We weren't able to swim in it yet, as I type this the pool heat if up to 71 degrees. It averages about 6 degrees a day. I'm hoping by Monday to be in the 80's FINALLY!!! Then I don't think I will EVER get out. Didn't stop Sam and Parks from getting in and playing on the steps though. How are kids able to play in such cold water???

My Mother In Law babysat last night so Nate and I were able to go out for a "date". We ended up going to Bonefish for dinner, we had gift certificates from Nate's Aunt and it was DELICIOUS! Then we went to Barnes and Noble and were able to actually walk around for a while and browse which is such a treat to us both! We love to read and one of our favorite things to do is just wander around the bookstore. We each found a book and then I picked out a book for Nate!! Can you believe it! My husband the "Book Guy" let me pick out a book for him. We are each going to read it and then discuss. Like our own private Oprahs book club. Yes we are dorks, we have accepted it! Then we ended the night at the Universal City Walk. It was really cool to walk around. We had a drink, watched a live band for a while and did some really good people watching. We left feeling a bit old though, it was mostly teenagers!!! It was very dead there though, I think its this time of year. It was a very fun MUCH needed night out for the two of us though.
